About
Sean M. Hoffman is the owner and principal attorney of Millennium Legal. He is a passionate advocate for his clients, and became a lawyer in order to help individuals and small businesses achieve their goals. Helping clients overcome legal obstacles, Sean’s toolkit includes civil litigation, forming businesses and nonprofits, and transactional work such as drafting contracts. In the last four years, Sean has practiced law as a solo attorney, with a non-profit, with a boutique litigation firm, and for political campaigns. He served as Deputy Director of Research for Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s reelection campaign, where his responsibilities included training and managing the Voter Protection Team of lawyers to ensure the integrity of the election.
Sean earned his JD from Emory University School of Law, where he served on the Faculty Appointments Advisory Committee, Executive Board of the Emory Public Interest Committee, and the Executive Board of the Supreme Court Advocacy Program. He clerked for a U.S. Attorney, the Federal Trade Commission, and twice for the Illinois Attorney General. He is currently active in several charitable organisations, providing pro bono legal services through Lawyers for the Creative Arts and serving on the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center Associate Council charity board.
